Halloween!

The girls had a great time on Halloween! Alan and Bev told us that their church was having a Harvest Party that night so we decided to do that instead of trick or treating. (Since Skye can't have most of the candy she gets, it's not much fun for her.) The party was great! When we first got there we saw Uncle Alan, Aunt Beverley, Connor and Dana. Connor was so cute dressed as Anakin Skywalker and Dana was a fuzzy pink butterfly (I think). The little ones got tired quickly so they left soon after that, but my girls had enough energy to power a small town! Sierra had a great time going around to all the games and loading up on loot, while Skye (my little daredevil) went down the giant inflatable slide and...are you ready for this? Rode a mechanical bull!!! I got a video of it, so I might post it later...she stuck on like a burr! They had a great petting zoo with a Patagonian Cavy and a giant tortoise, and we went on our second hay ride of the week (we love hay rides almost as much as we love ferries!). There were so many things to do that we didn't come close to doing it all...I guess that's a sign of a good party. When it was all over, my little pirate princesses had bags of candy, armfuls (is that a word?) of silly inflatable toys, and tired feet. A successful evening all around!
